Global Missions at BGC

God is at work among the nations, advancing his glory among all peoples, and we want to be part of what he’s doing.

As an overflow of Brandywine Grace’s vision to love God, love one another, and love the world, our vision for Global Missions is to grow as global Christians—reaching the nations among us (diaspora) locally and sending our own partners to the unreached globally as a sending church. We long to help every believer play a meaningful role in God’s unfolding story among the nations.

Ways to Get Involved

To that end, we provide multiple ways for our church to engage in the Great Commission, including:

  • Monthly global prayer meetings on the 1st Sunday of every month

  • Short-term missions trips for exposure, service, learning, and outreach

  • C.A.R.E. Teams that provide support for our long-term missionaries

  • Missions learning opportunities throughout the year

  • Multiple ways BGC Partners can help send and support long-term missionaries

  • And much more!

Resources

Our aim is to keep growing as a sending church. The documents below explain how we pursue and live out this calling.

“God’s end goal in the world is that his glory would be known and enjoyed among all the nations. This reality is evident from cover to cover in the Bible, from the creation of man and woman in God’s image to the consummation of God’s kingdom in a multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language worshiping him for the salvation and satisfaction found in him (Genesis 1:26–28; Revelation 7:9–17).

If this is the end goal of God — the spread of his glory among all the nations — then this should be the end goal of every Christian in whom the Spirit of God dwells.

Global missions is apparently not a program in the church for a select few who are called in a special way.

Global missions is the purpose for which we all have breath.”
